IIT GATE 2027 Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is organizing the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027. GATE is a national-level examination for admission to postgraduate programs (M.Tech, M.E., Ph.D.) in engineering, technology, architecture, and science, with financial assistance from MoE. GATE scores are also used by PSUs for recruitment. The exam will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for 30 test papers across multiple sessions. Eligible candidates include those in the third year or higher of B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc, B.Com, BA, BCA, MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, M.Sc, M.A, M.Com, MCA, integrated courses, and equivalent degrees. There is no age limit. Applications are open online from 27 August to 27 September 2026 (regular period).
